Description



Confirmed as pose #509-4 and graded NM 7 by PSA with an (mc) qualifier. Canadian Pete Wood directs a perfect pitch on the offered 1887 N172 Old Judge pose. Despite a slightly faint image, the Quakers pitcher is otherwise framed by well-constructed corners, crisp edges and a clean back. Errant centering common to rudimentary nineteenth century printing techniques accounts for the qualifier.
