Dedicate some wall space for a majestic view of 34th POTUS Dwight D. Eisenhower's first inauguration with this rousing panorama photo. As General of the Army and Supreme Commander of Allied Forces, "Ike" guided the combined forces of the U.S. and her Allies to victory over the Nazis in WWII. The tables turned in the 1950s, with Eisenhower serving two terms as President during a feel good era of peace and prosperity from 1953-1961. Eisenhower and his running mate Richard M. Nixon are seen in portrait images at the ends of the offered panorama photo, on the day they were first sworn into office as U.S. President and Vice President respectively. Professionally framed to overall dimensions of 59 x 11-1/4", this stirring photo presents handsomely with deference to light to moderate rippling that is fairly unobtrusive. The scene captured the moment of Eisenhower's oath with Nixon nearby at right, before a military band and a reverent crowd of thousands. A caption at top to the right of center proclaims the occasion as "Eisenhower - Nixon Inauguration January 20, 1953 U.S. Capitol".
