This well centered horizontal beauty displays only mild corner/edge wear and smooth off-white edges. The young Oklahoman's batting pose is perfectly contrasted against a bright ballpark setting. Despite a vertical crease which extends edge-to-edge through the middle of the cardboard, the condition factor barely protrudes the front surface. Additionally, the reverse is absent of any wax staining. A "true" Mantle rookie which appears far nicer than the technical grade suggests.
