When it comes to the "Sword & Sorcery" genre, nobody did it better than celebrated illustrator Frank Frazetta. A big city boy from Brooklyn, Frazetta mastered the realm of escapist fantasy, perfectly realizing the essence of Robert E. Howard's brutish barbarian Conan with his distinctive and instantly recognizable style of art. Here we track down some fine examples of Frazetta's ferocious female fantasy figures with this 1977 Middle Earth "Frazetta's Women of the Ages" portfolio set of (6) LE prints. These 11x15 prints were created specifically for this edition of 1,500 sets and remain in like-new condition. Frazetta has signed ("9") and hand numbered "1111/1500" the first print in the set, which depicts a nude woman with her dagger raised in triumph over a downed foe. Accompanying are a COA from Middle Earth, the original portfolio folder and the original envelope.
